“I Volti della Memoria” è un progetto della Fondazione CDEC che ha per scopo la raccolta e la pubblicazione delle fotografie delle vittime della Shoah in Italia.
Il progetto ha preso avvio in occasione del 27 gennaio 2010 con la pubblicazione, sul sito della Fondazione CDEC, delle fotografie del Fondo Massimo Adolfo Vitale.

Sami Moubayed, a Syrian political analyst, has been researching Syrian history since 1996. He is the author of three books on modern Syria. Over an 8-year period, he has accumulated a very large collection of papers, documents, and photographs, which he decided to display in the first online museum of Syria. The idea came to mind and was executed with his friend Sahban Abd Rabbo, the site's webmaster, in late 2004.

"Based in Amsterdam and Paris, the European Archive is a non-profit foundation working towards universal access to all knowledge. The archive will achieve this through partnerships with libraries, museums, other collection bodies, and through building its own collections. The primary goal of collecting this knowledge is to make it as publicly accessible as possible, via the Internet and other means.
