"La BibAr è una biblioteca in senso proprio, un luogo cioè - non fisico ma virtuale- nel quale si conservano e si consultano dei documenti, in questo caso pubblicazioni scientifiche di argomento specialistico. A differenza di altre biblioteche digitali, BibAr non fornisce solo la notizia bibliografica del volume, bensì consente di accedere direttamente al contenuto del volume stesso (collane, riviste, monografie, singoli articoli) digitalizzato e reso disponibile full text per la lettura, per il download sul proprio computer ed eventualmente per la stampa.
