"The World Digital Library (WDL) makes available on the Internet, free of charge and in multilingual format, significant primary materials from countries and cultures around the world.

The principal objectives of the WDL are to:

"Memory of the Netherlands is a gigantic digital treasury, full of information about the Dutch past. Visitors to the Memory website have access to hundreds of thousands of superb images, recordings, film footage and texts that have been classified under some fifty digital collections. Together, they offer a unique and varied picture of the history and culture of the Netherlands."

Pobeda 1941-1945 è un ricco archivio di oltre un migliaio di fotografie della seconda guerra mondiale, sviluppato dal Servizio federale di Archiviazione della Russia (Rosarkhiv).

"The Sikh Cyber Museum is a non-commercial educational project that focuses on Anglo Sikh History. The website has been funded by the Heritage Lottery fund and managed by the council of Sikh Gurdwaras in Birmingham. The primary aim of the project is to enhance and enrich relations between those of Sikh origin and the general community via the World Wide Web.

"AMMER, Archivio Multimediale della Memoria dell’Emigrazione Regionale, è un archivio digitale che raccoglie fotografie, documenti cartacei e interviste registrate ai protagonisti dell’emigrazione del Friuli Venezia Giulia. AMMER si è inaugurato nel 2006 con un primo gruppo di 100 interviste e 5000 fotografie, raccolte in Argentina ed in Uruguay. Nel corso degli anni la ricerca è stata estesa progressivamente a tutti i Paesi verso i quali si sono diretti i flussi migratori della regione. Le tappe successive hanno riguardato Canada, Australia, Stati Uniti d'America, Venezuela e, in Europa, Francia,  Germania, Svizzera e Belgio. La ricerca prosegue in Brasile, Sud Africa, Nord ed  Est Europa. AMMER è stato progettato per essere costruito con forme di gestione partecipata. Gli emigrati, le loro famiglie e i loro discendenti sono coinvolti direttamente quali testimoni e fornitori della documentazione e nel contempo quali utenti in prima persona delle informazioni, insieme agli studiosi ed a tutti gli interessati.
